The Doctors of Distinction Golf Invitational brings together New York metro area’s physicians and business leaders for a day of golf on an exceptional area course. This event raises funds for the American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission.
Dr. Randall Feingold is a founding partner of New York Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NYBRA), Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and Director of the Division of Plastic Surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. With over 30 years of experience in microsurgery, Dr. Feingold is a recognized expert in breast reconstruction and specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, nose, breast, and body, including explant surgery.
In addition to his esteemed medical career, Dr. Feingold has devoted nearly two decades to our mission and has become an integral part of the American Cancer Society, currently serving on the ACS Long Island Board. He founded the Doctors of Distinction Golf Invitational 17 years ago and has served as Event Chair ever since. In addition, this year Dr. Feingold will receive the Eugene O’Kelly Award for his distinguished service to the American Cancer Society at the 2024 Financial Services Cares Gala in Manhattan. His tireless efforts on the frontlines of our mission ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Charles L. Lucore, M.D., M.B.A. has been the President of St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center® in Roslyn, New York since 2018. Dr. Lucore, a graduate of Colgate University received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine.
After an Internal Medicine Residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, Missouri. As a faculty member at the University’s School of Medicine, his research lab focused on the role of fibrinolysis in vascular remodeling.
Dr. Lucore is a member of the American Hospital Association’s Region 2 Policy Board. He received his MBA from Olin School of Business, becoming Executive Director of the Prairie Heart Institute and subsequently President and CEO of HSHS St. John’s Hospital, the flagship hospital of the Hospital Sisters Health System prior to joining Catholic Health.
